Criminaz – Criminal Activity

Criminaz - Criminal Activity1. Lockdown(Intro)

Intro.

2. Criminal Activity(Celly Cel)

This is a Celly Cel solo track here and he uses some really dope voice effects for the track, the effects sound like the chorus to Funk Season mixed together. G-Man Stan produces the track and the beat sounds like “187 proof”. Short but good song that shows Celly’s ability. Good

3. Ridaz(Spice 1, Celly Cel, & Jayo Felony)

G-Man Stan produces the beat and he uses 2 Pac’s “Ambitionz Az A Ridah” voice samples, pretty dope stuff with some nice guitar & violin riffs added in. Spice 1 starts it off and his verse is easily the weakest, I’m not a fan of post 1998 Spice 1, he lost his dope flow and just rattles off nonsense. Celly Cel with the next verse and it’s really good. Jayo with the best verse on the track and one of his best verses ever, man he rips it here. Great track. Good

4. Puttin In Work(Celly Cel, Spice 1, & Jayo Felony)

Nice hard hitting beat by Doyle. Jayo starts it off with a dope verse, Jayo is really underrated. Speaking of underrated, Celly Cel does a great chorus and second verse, man he shows some anger here, really dope stuff. Spice 1 with a good verse, it’s a lot better than the last track. Great track. Good

5. N***az Like Us(Celly Cel, Spice 1, & Bun B)

Nice Chi Town style beat here, fast paced. Celly Cel starts it off and he raps fast(!) he does a good job rapid spitting. Terrible chorus here as it’s the title said really slow. Spice 1 with the next verse and he does a great job here, man he goes off here rapid spitting. Bun B is next and he takes his time here, he doesn’t rap fast but he does a good job. Good track. Good

6. My Life(Jayo Felony, Celly Cel, & Spice 1)

Slow paced beat here, a little boring if you ask me and way too sappy. Jayo with the first verse and he ignores the beat and just rips it with a dope verse. Silly chorus here with some girl singing, not very good. Spice 1 also ignores the beat as he does a good job with his verse(Man Spice 1 is motivated on this album!). Celly Cel with the last verse and it’s pretty good(Of course because it’s Celly Cel). Beat and chorus suck but the Criminalz did a pretty good job carrying the track. Average

7. Boss Up(Spice 1, Tray Deee, Yukmouth, & Jayo Felony)

Wow and now we have a recycled song. Beat is not good on this song, in fact it sucks and it was produced by Spice 1 but everyone does a good job with their verses. Tray Deee outshines everyone. Decent track. Average(I cannot stand the sloppy beat)

8. Doin It Big(Celly Cel, Spice 1, & Silk-E)

Good beat here, it’s got some bounce to it, yet has some eerie sounds added. Celly Cel with the first verse and I’ll admit this is a terrible Celly verse. Chorus is terrible, with some guy who has no business singing…….well singing. Silk-E with the next verse and it’s pretty good. Spice 1 with the next verse and it’s decent. Beat was good but everything else was painful to listen to. Wack

9. The Real World(Celly Cel, Jayo Felony, & Spice 1)

Ok now we get back on track. Good beat, it’s got a mobbish sound to it. Celly Cel starts it off with a dope verse. Great chorus here, it’s simple but it gets the job done. Spice 1 with a good verse. Jayo with a decent verse. Good track. Good

10. Reminisce(Celly Cel, Spice 1, & Jayo Felony)

Slower paced beat here, it’s good though. They all rap about their homies they miss and do good jobs doing it. Chorus is decent. Good enough. Good

11. What They Hittin Fo?(Celly Cel, Spice 1, & Jayo Felony)

Really good beat here, it has a laid back feel to it. Spice 1 starts it off with a pretty good verse. Celly Cel with the next verse and he outshines Spice 1, man Celly is overlooked. Speaking of overlooked, Jayo has the last verse and it’s pretty good. Good

12. Rollin Wit My Folks(Celly Cel & Spice 1)

DOPE! The best track on the album! Great beat here, it’s a little odd sounding but it’s good stuff. Spice 1 starts it off with a great verse. Celly Cel & Spice 1 do the chorus and it’s really dope, it has that Ice T “Money Power Women” feel to it. Celly Cel with the last verse and it’s really good. DOPE!

All in all this gets a Good rating. This album was overlooked and should atleast be heard. Most def cop it if you’re a fan of Westcoast music……ah hell cop it if you’re a fan of music PERIOD!

Celly Cel – Killa Kali

Celly Cel - Killa Kali1. Round 2(Intro)

Great intro here, I can’t rate this because it’s not much of a song, it’s basically Celly talking over a really dope beat.

2. What U Niggaz Thought

DOPE!!!!! This is one of Celly’s best tracks ever. The beat is abrasive yet it has a hint of smooth mixed in. The chorus is sung by Kevin Gardner and it’s a classic chorus. Celly Cel rips this track. DOPE!

3. 4 Tha Skrilla(Feat B-Legit & E-40)

Another classic track, all 3 come tight and just have great chemistry together, see this is the Bay I like. Celly was the most overlooked rapper in the Bay, probably still is, I feel he never got his props when he was on Sick Wid It. Classic track that needs to be heard. DOPE!

4. It’s Goin Down

If you haven’t heard this song then you are not a rap fan. Classic beat by Tone Capone. Slower pace here which is dope. I dig the chorus with the girl singing it adds to the track. One of Celly’s best tracks. DOPE!

5. Can’t Tell Me Shit

K-LOU!!!! produces the beat and it’s great(Of course). Starts off slow then the beat just kicks in. Celly Cel raps about the past. Really good track. Good

6. Tha Bullet

K-Lou with another great beat. I dig the voice effects here. Celly Cel plays the part of the bullet on this song, great concept here. Classic track! DOPE!

7. Red Rum(Feat Spice 1)

DOPE!!!!! If you want to hear chemistry then peep this track and listen to these 2 rip the track and feed off each other. This was back when Spice 1 could actually rap. K-Lou produces a classic beat. Great chorus here. Flawless track. DOPE!

8. Skanlezz Call(Skit)

Skit.

9. Skanlezz Azz Bytchez

Good track but I feel it’s not as good as the others. Celly Cel comes pretty tight on here though and the beat is good albeit sloppy. Good

10. Remember Where You Came From

Another classic track! This is a more relaxing track and it really needs to be heard. Good message on this song as well. Kevin Gardner sings on the chorus which is dope and is mixed in with Celly’s vocals. Flawless track. DOPE!

11. Killa Kali

Great beginning here as Celly plays the part of a news anchor and talks about the violence in California, then the beat kicks in and you’re drawn to the track. Celly rips the track here with some dope lyrics. I dig the chorus as Celly channels Spice 1. Great track. DOPE!

12. Playerizm

This is the only average track on the album. Celly tries but the beat is way too slow. Average

13. Funk Season

BEST CELLY CEL TRACK EVER!!!! Quite possibly the greatest Bay track ever. K-Lou produces a classic beat here. The sound effects for the chorus are just great and add a certain something to the track. Celly rips it here, with some really powerful lyrics. You have to hear this track! DOPE!

All in all this gets a DOPE! rating. GET THIS ALBUM NOW! Seriously you have to own this album, any fan of rap MUST OWN THIS! Celly Cel shines here. COP IT!

Celly Cel – Song’z U Can’t Find

Celly Cel - Song'z U Can't Find1. Time To Play

Really good track, the beat is relaxing and bouncy. Celly Cel raps about women but he also maintains his great flow and doesn’t get “lovey dovey” so it ends up being a really dope track. This track is basically a “Player” track. Good

2. My Tip Toes(Feat Levitti)

2 really underrated artists are on this track. Levitti’s singing is a little uninspired here but it’s still good. Levitti even has a verse(!) which is really dope. Celly Cel of course rips it, man Celly Cel is the most overlooked rapper ever. Good

3. L.A. To The Bay(Feat W.C., C.J. Mac, Homicide, & Bigslep)

Wow what a posse cut we have here. Nice beat, it has that bouncy feel to it and some funk to it. Homicide starts it off with a good verse. Celly Cel with the next verse and it’s of course really good and he outshines Homicide. Chorus is pretty dope. CJ Mac sounds really different here as he doesn’t have that raspy flow. W.C. up next with the best verse on the track. Good track. Good

4. What U Hustle Fo?(Feat Baby Beesh & Don Cisco)

Really dope beat by K-Lou. Celly Cel starts it off with a great verse, I have no clue why Celly never got to be a huge mainstream rapper, it’s probably because he’s from the Bay(Well that is the reason), he has everything you’d want in an artist: Dope flow, dope lyrics, charisma, good presence. Such a shame he never got to be huge. Cisco with the next verse and it’s good. Beesh with a decent verse. Good track! Good

5. How I Roll

Celly uses the “She Blinded Me With Science” beat here and IT WORKS! Celly using this sample is just dopeness! Of course Celly Cel rips the track. DOPE!(She Blinded Me With Science + Celly Cel=DOPE!)

6. Get They Wig Split(Feat C-Bo & B-Legit)

This is off Hemp Museum and it’s a classic track. B-Legit actually raps with some enthusiasm which is dope and C-Bo rips this track and is clearly the star here although Celly gives him a run for his money. Classic track! DOPE!

7. The Only Way

This was off the Dangerous Ground soundtrack and the beat is a little messy, Celly carries the track though because he’s Celly Cel and he could carry a Casio beat. Good(For Celly’s work)

8. Shoe Strings(Feat E-40, Mugzi, & Kaveo)

Sloppy track here, it’s decent though but can get annoying. Kaveo starts it off with a decent verse. Mugzi with an awful verse, he should never try to rapid spit. Celly Cel outshines everyone with a great verse. E-40 with a weird verse. Mugzi & Kaveo rap again and I don’t care about either one. Average

9. Pop Yo Collar(Feat Rappin 4 Tay & Big Ton)

DOPE!!!!!!! I love the beat. Rappin 4 Tay starts it off with a smooth verse(4 Tay is overlooked). Chorus is great and fits the song. Big Ton sounds a little rough over this beat but it works. CELLY CEL!!!!!! with the next verse and outshines everyone. DOPE!

10. Tramp Delite

Pimp track here, decent stuff here. Celly really isn’t trying here and it shows. Average

11. We Bring The Funk(Feat Mac Shawn)

DOPE!!!!! The beat has this siren type sound that kicks in and it really adds to the track. Mac Shawn starts it off with a dope verse then Celly with the next verse and it’s dope(Of course). Mac Shawn with another verse to end the track. Great stuff here. DOPE!

12. Beware Of Those(Feat E-40 & JT The Bigga Figga)

Quite the all star line up here. JT produces a really hard hitting mob type beat. Celly Cel starts it off with a great verse, man he can flow over any track. JT with the next verse and it’s great and I love how the beat changes when he starts rapping. E-40 with the next verse and it’s dope. Celly Cel with another great verse, this track is insane. E-40 up next and he just kind of sings. JT up next with another verse and it’s dope. What an insane track, needs to be heard. DOPE!

13. Struggle(Feat B-Legit & Arapahoes)

Beat is nice and relaxing with a girl singing to add effect, dope stuff and I like the piano added in. Arapahoes starts it off and what a name that is he has a decent verse though he tries to sound like Bizzy Bone by the end of it. Celly Cel with the next verse and he totally outshines the last guy. Girl sings a pretty dope chorus. I guess Arapahoes is a group and member number 2 raps up next with a decent verse. B-Legit with the next verse and it’s pretty dope, it’s typical B-Legit. Good track. Good

14. Bay Riders(Feat NFL Star William Floyd)

Ant Banks produces the beat and it’s decent. William Floyd with the first verse and he tries atleast. Celly Cel with the next verse and it’s pretty good but short. Chorus is some girl singing the word “Bay Riders” it’s decent. Floyd with the another verse and it’s not that good but he’s atleast putting some effort into it. Celly Cel with another verse and it’s pretty dope but again too short. Yea that was a little odd. Average

All in all this gets a Good rating. Pretty good album with old tracks and old features that some didn’t get to hear. Cop this if you’re a Celly Cel fan!
